Description

The National Trust Insect Tower is perfect for helping to achieve a balanced ecosystem in your garden.

You can encourage a wide range of beneficial insects into your garden by providing nesting sites. Species such as ladybirds and lacewings will help to control aphids, and bees deliver an essential pollination service.

The different floors of this Insect Tower offer shelter for a variety of insect species. The tubes at the top are designed for solitary bees, such as Red Mason Bees, to lay their eggs. There is also a floor with vertical slots to encourage butterflies, and a section that has openings for ladybirds and lacewings. Other insects will happily take refuge within the pine cones.

You can also support biodiversity in your garden by planting wildflowers alongside the insect hotels. Take a look at our range of insect and bird attracting wildflowers.
