What is 70/30 Fine Turf Top Dressing?
A high quality lawn top dressing material, suitable for dressing any fine turf. Popular with bowls clubs and the owners of fine lawns, it can be used to produce a smooth, free draining turf surface and open soil structure. Application of 70/30 top dressing over fresh seed, improves seed to soil contact thereby encouraging germination and aiding healthy seed establishment.

How is it made?
Made from a blend of 70% specially selected sports sand and 30% graded top soil. Heat treated and screened over a 3 mm square mesh the resulting product is free flowing and therefore easily spread.
Application guidelines for fine turf dressing
- Light dressing at 2 kg per m2
- Medium dressing at 4 kg per m2
- Heavy Dressing at 6 kg per m2

All of our sands, soils, dressings, loams, and rootzones are natural products. Therefore, they are subject to variation in colours and appearance. All pictures are for illustration only.
Availability
This lawn dressing is available in both dumpy bags and small bags for easier handling and storage. Available in small 25 kg, dumpy bags as well as in 10, 20 and 29 loose tonne loads.

Delivery & Returns
Any applicable delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. Certain products qualify for next working day delivery if ordered before 1pm, excluding bank holidays and the festive season. Please be aware that deliveries to remote areas, including the Highlands and Cornwall, may take longer. Additional charges apply for non-mainland locations — please contact the office for further details, or you can learn more about our delivery options here.
A signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available, you can leave a signed note for the driver requesting the parcel be left in a secure location without a signature. However, please be aware that this is done at your own risk and is subject to the driver's discretion.
For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000kg applies.
Please note for deliveries that require a pallet, the pallet/packaging itself is the customer's responsibility and will not be uplifted or taken upon delivery.
