Blanketweed thrives in cooler temperatures, it often tries to dominate your pond from early spring. Traditionally, pond owners had to wait for warmer temperatures to treat blanketweed, but with Cloverleaf’s Blanket Answer, you can now tackle this issue in water as cold as 2°C.
Blanket Answer has been a top choice for UK pond keepers due to its unique blend of minerals and enzymes. Its new, improved formula continues to be safe for all pond fish, plants, and biological filtration systems, allowing for worry-free treatment. Unlike other products, a single dose of Blanket Answer is often sufficient, though it can be used year-round if needed.
When applied, the water may turn cloudy for 2-5 days, but this is temporary, and you can expect to see results within 14 days. With Cloverleaf Blanket Answer, you're equipped to combat blanketweed early in the season, ensuring a healthier pond ecosystem.

Application Rates
An 800 gram bottle is sufficient to treat 10,000 litres (10m³) of water body. 40g per 125L - enclosed scoop will treat approx. 400 Litres.
Remember, nothing is to be gained by a higher than recommended dose. Most users of "Blanket Answer" Aquatic Weed Control have found that after one dose, no more is required. But in the unlikely event, more can be added later if needed.

Delivery & Returns
Any applicable delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. Certain products qualify for next working day delivery if ordered before 1pm, excluding bank holidays and the festive season. Please be aware that deliveries to remote areas, including the Highlands and Cornwall, may take longer. Additional charges apply for non-mainland locations — please contact the office for further details, or you can learn more about our delivery options here.
A signature is required upon delivery. If no one is available, you can leave a signed note for the driver requesting the parcel be left in a secure location without a signature. However, please be aware that this is done at your own risk and is subject to the driver's discretion.
For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000kg applies.
Please note for deliveries that require a pallet, the pallet/packaging itself is the customer's responsibility and will not be uplifted or taken upon delivery.
