How to use
Non-Selective Contact Herbicide
Apply Katoun Gold to small broad-leaf and grass weeds when they are in early stages of development. For best results wet the leaf thoroughly.
A hydraulic sprayer or knapsack sprayer can be used to apply the product. Choose a nozzle type to give the stated water volume and a medium to coarse spray quality (BCPC definition). Select a spray pattern which will ensure a good coverage of the larger weeds to be controlled.
You will likely see best results on weeds which are small – less than 10cm.
With Katoun Gold being a contact herbicide, it is essential that every part of the weed is covered and treated. Any areas of leaf shaded by other weeds will not be affected by the treatment.
The longevity of the product will largely depend on the size of the weed and weather conditions. Please note that as Katoun Gold is a contact only herbicide with no systemic or residual activity, perennial weeds may regrow.

Additional Information
Apply evenly, avoid overlapping or missing areas. Do not apply in hot, dry weather or frosty conditions. Half fill the applicator with clean water. Add concentrate as required and mix thoroughly whilst adding remaining water.
When using Katoun Gold amongst amenity plantings, forest nursery stock or hardy ornamental plan production, extreme care must be taken to avoid contact with or drift onto desirable plants such as grass, leaves of trees and shrubs or ornamentals.
Do NOT use on lawns or directly apply to desired vegetation. Ensure stems/trunks have hardened off before application. Care must be taken to avoid any contact with stems. The use of low drift nozzles and/or shrouded/hooded sprayers should be used to avoid any drift.
