Trico® is a proven and highly effective solution for protecting trees, and other plants from browsing damage. What sets Trico® apart from other repellents is its excellent rainfastness and visibility, ensuring year-round protection against game damage. Conveniently available as a ready-to-use spray, it can be easily applied using a knapsack sprayer fitted with either a fine solid cone nozzle or a flat fan nozzle.
Deer pose significant challenges for forestry professionals and garden owners alike. Their voracious appetite extends beyond herbs and grasses to include tender shoots, leaves, and bark, posing a threat to newly established crops. Balancing game stocks with the woodland's natural capacity while ensuring the ecosystem's health and productivity becomes paramount.
While traditional remedies like fencing and culling exist, they may not always be suitable, especially for estates reliant on deer for commercial purposes, particularly when adjacent to woodlands. Hence, alternative strategies are essential.
Trico® provides long-term protection for both deciduous and coniferous species against grazing animals including deer as they find the scent and taste unappealing. Trico® can protect not only against grazing and browsing damage but also against damage caused by deer fraying and rubbing.
Each 10 L container of Trico® will cover 0.5-1 ha.

- Long lasting protection against deer grazing, browsing and rubbing damage to trees and shrubs
